In this project I dedicate myself to the artistic world of Flash Art (which are all artistic activities related to the preparation of drawings and paintings of the tattooists and represent a form of art known as the Folk Art). So, with immersion in studies and practices related to the execution of tattoos in the the european traditional old school style, the american old school style and the european blackworks styles. It is elaborate folk designs and tattoos using only black color, however, and only at times inserting another five colors, usually red, green, brown, yellow and blue, but in a very restricted manner and function in the same line art with the expected substantial use of black. Referring the works to older, crude meanings, aiming to symbolism connected to archetypes and more archaic mysticism an absolutely rough poetry, expecting romantic and naive results in the simplicity of traces in a primitive preparation, brut, that exhibits this way it’s the greatest interest and aesthetic quality. I am profoundly inspired by the very earlier tattooing expressions and my intent is to offer tattoo designs about older meanings, pagan archetypes, archaic mysticism and rough life poetry. Working with the simplicity of primitive traces and creating a naive aesthetic quality on art works and body art.
